Paris Saint-Germain - First Academy in Russia Announced

Paris Saint-Germain, a perennial soccer power in France's League 1, announced the opening of its first Academy in Russia.

There is a good reason for choosing Luzhniki Sport Complex, as it is the heart of the Russian sports life.

After the triumph at the 2018 World Cup, where the French national soccer team defeated Croatia in the World Cup final at the Luzhniki Stadium, there is no doubt that this symbolic place must become the second home for the Paris Saint-Germain Academy students.

The opening ceremony, which is planned to be attended by a delegation from the Academy and Club management, is scheduled for August 31, 2019.

The training process will be based on the Paris Saint-Germain Academy's unique methodology specially developed by the Paris Saint-Germain experts for children of different ages and skills. The coaching staff consists exclusively of experienced coaches who have passed strict selection and training according to Paris Saint-Germain Methodology. The head coach will be appointed from the Academy's coaching staff in Paris.

The training sessions will take place in comfortable facilities at the indoor soccer arena which is being built specifically for the Academy at Luzhniki. In the warm season, the training sessions will take place outside.

It is expected that more than 500 children aged 3 to 15 years will be trained at the Academy. The doors of the Academy are open for all kids regardless their ability levels. The coaching staff will form the groups after tryouts.

You can sign up for tryouts at the Paris Saint-Germain Academy by phone or by leaving a request on the website.
